A few months ago, I was beginning to wonder if we had ground under our snow. Now, I'm beginning to wonder if we will ever have dry weather. Wow. Later this week, the Mississippi is supposed to crest above flood stage for the second time this year. Wow.
However, that being said, we have had a lot of fun trying to learn to take pictures of the clouds and the storms. Last night bad weather rolled in and my Hero and I almost knocked one another over trying to get to the camera.
This is what the scene out our front window has looked like for weeks.
and this has become a common occurrence in our late afternoons:
But clouds surely can be beautiful, can't they?
I think we are supposed to have a brief respite from the rain for at least a little while this week. I have mixed emotions about that. The more it rains, the more opportunity I have for practice shooting the rain. Then again, maybe I'd like to try taking pictures in the sunshine.

Beautiful pictures, Terri. The first looks like a water color...I guess in a way it is. :)
We just had two very brief showers. It's been so dry here. You can send some of the rain this way. I love the sunshine...but it takes both for the flowers to grow. :)
Very nice pictures Terri. It rained here in Europe for over a week and I was wonderful where the Ark was!
I just got back from my visit to central and western Ky...it was scorching hot!! It felt more like August instead of early June. I heard thunder in the night and thankfully we've had some rain to help my poor flowers and maters out...LOL!
Your cloud pictures are beautiful!☺
