Bucket List and Link to a Giveaway

Have you heard of the movie "The Bucket List"? The premise is these guys make a list of things they want to do before they "kick the bucket" and then they set off to complete the list.

So I'm wondering, what are some things I want to do before I kick the bucket? I had to seriously think about this in December of 2006 because I almost kicked the bucket! And truthfully, there is nothing that I haven't done that I would be disappointed to miss out on before I go to heaven, but there are some things that would be nice to do.

1. Hold my granddaughter, Emma.
2. Visit Scotland.
3. Visit Germany.
4. Visit the East Coast. We've been to 37 states including every state in the contiguous 48 west of the Mississippi but we haven't seen the East Coast.
5. Spend a week in a secluded cabin with my Hero. Just us, no phones — maybe a hot tub (wink, wink.)
6. Write a book (I'll finish my BA in December and the main reason I went back to school was to hone my writing skills.)

Right now, that's all I can think of. I'm sure there are other things I should add to the list, but I will revisit this idea soon.

Oh, Scotland sounds wonderful. Never made it there even though we were in Europe for 3 years. Germany is wonderful- visited many times while stationed in Italy. Thanks for playing! :D

Hey Terri,

Great list.
I know how you feel about holding your new grandbaby. I've got one I've not met, too...makes my heart ache.

Great list! My girls are still very young...but I think about grand-babies already.

Hey those all sounds like doable goals.

I'm interested, what kind of book would you write?

While your visiting Germany you'll have to stop by Croatia and visit us. You know Croatia has the most beautiful coast in Europe and there is also a private island you can rent for a time in the middle of the Adriatic. Hmm, think about it, you and your Hero and the whole Adriatic!
Come on over whenever ya want!!

Now that I'm reading other bucket lists, I could probably make mine a mile long. Nice to meet ya.

No way! If we were only closer, we could share our stories and you could teach me to sew, so I could mark it off my list! lol Oh and you could bring the grandbaby to visit with my babies! :) It was a nice thought! I cant wait to say "It's been 25 years ago..."
