When I was a little girl, and the rain came, I would stand in the window and sing, "Rain, Rain, go away! Come again another day!" But, through time, I have learned to welcome the rain. I know what's coming. After the rain, the air is fresh and the world is clean. The flowers stand high having sipped the goodness.
Yesterday afternoon, the clouds cleared and I grabbed my camera and headed out with my grandson and the dog in tow. Here is what we found:
I hope that when my grandson is grown, and it rains, he remembers walking in the freshness with me.
