Do you remember when pop-can tabs looked like this?
That's what they looked like until 1974 when the stay-on-tab was invented. I was already a teenager! Can you imagine how many of these little tabs would be laying around today if we still used them?

I don't remember those, but I wouldn't want to see the ground today if they were still around.
