In my country

About ten years ago, I took a group of about 15 ladies from my church to a large women's conference. The church had converted all of the bathrooms in the building to women's restrooms for the conference to shorten the wait during breaks but there were still lines.

There was a lady from my church from Cameroon who had immigrated here and she was standing in line with me waiting for the restroom during a break. We were just chatting and she said, "There are no lines in my country."

I was a little confused and after a moment I asked her, "So are there a lot of bathrooms or what?"

Her answer, "No, in my country the biggest and strongest go first."

After today and all the mad rush and crush just to save money on a TV or a Wii, I'm afraid that is the case in my country, too.

Oh, Terri! I was so ashamed for our country when I heard about the Wal Mart employee who was trampled to death in Long Island, then the people refused to leave the store when the management told them the worker had been killed and they needed to clear the store. What have we come to?

Wow, what a sad testimony for us. You know accidents happen but what got to me is that when it did happen no one cared enough to even try to see if this poor man was okay.
The US serves her own God, MONEY!

I'm still sickened and saddened by the news of the man being trampled by a greedy mob. Like Tori said, this speaks of the god served by many Americans.

It's no small wonder God is turning America over to her own destruction.

My thoughts and prayers are with the man and his family
